ReplyDeleteI had something similar made in Oregon, which was the first I've heard of any such, at the Green Goddess in NOLA. Islay-style stuff, quite good.
Made from peat-malted barley brought in from Scotland, our whiskey would be a single malt Scotch if Oregon were Scotland.
