I flew a prop plane out of Greenville 20 years ago. It connected in Memphis. Greenville is esentially three hours from any airport, which is quite a drive. So limited air service makes some sense. Of course, the Delta has lost 20 percent of its population in the past 20 years.

ReplyDeleteOn my one visit to Greenville last year, it seemed like a ghost town in the making. I certainly can understand Delta's reluctance to fly to the Delta.
